The Impetus

Pepper.

Everybody has a blog. The universe does not need another online journal, does it? And always, for years, the answer for me was, no. The universe needs a new blog like we need more stray dogs. Which is to say, there are already too many who disappear into obscurity. As often happens though, the reason to not do something can become the very reason to do it. So, of course I started a blog. You are here reading it, after all. I figure the only thing I can do is try to justify why. Maybe I will be the only one who reads this but that's alright since I'm really writing it for myself. And for the dogs. For Pickle. For Pepper. For all the nameless dogs. And for me who, at 36 and running head long into a mid-life WTF, senses a change ahead. I hope this forum will help make that change possible.
